Removal and installation of a cover of a drive of GRM

Removal

Top section

L engines 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove air purifier assembly (see. Head of the Power supply system and release).
  1. Liberate from clamps of the top cover electroconducting of the sensor of provision of a camshaft (CMP). Turn out three fixing screws, release the top section of a cover of their stykovochny clamps bottom and remove it from the engine.

Engines of 2.0 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove air purifier assembly (see. Head of the Power supply system and release).
  2. Turn out two fixing bolts and remove the top section of a cover, having pulled it up.

Bottom section

L engines 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the top section (see above).
  2. Overcoming resistance of a spring, develop a natyazhitel, and remove from a pulley the weakened belt of a drive of auxiliary units (see. Head Routine maintenance).

Before removal mark the original direction of a belt for the purpose of a possibility of its further use (if the condition allows).

  1. Cock the parking brake, then поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props. Remove the right forward wheel and a loker of protection of his arch (see. Head Body).
  1. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove a natyazhitel of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units.
  1. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft (see. Removal and installation of a pulley of a cranked shaft).
  1. Turn out a fixing bolt, liberate the bottom section of a cover from stykovochny clamps on back and remove it from the engine.

Engines of 2.0 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the top section of a cover (see above).
  2. Overcoming resistance of a spring, develop a natyazhitel, and remove from a pulley the weakened belt of a drive of auxiliary units (see. Head Routine maintenance).

Before removal mark the original direction of a belt for the purpose of a possibility of its further use (if the condition allows).

  1. On the models equipped with central air of air, cock the parking brake, then поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props. Remove right forward and a loker of protection of his arch (see. Head Body).
  2. Turn out a fixing bolt (ы) and remove a natyazhitel of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units from a basic arm.
  3. Remove a pulley of a cranked shaft (see. Removal and installation of a pulley of a cranked shaft).
  1. Turn out two fixing bolts, release two clamps and a cover from the engine complete with sealing laying.

Back cover

Engines 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a belt of a drive of GRM (see. Removal and installation of a belt of a drive of GRM).
  2. Uncover the gas-distributing mechanism (see. Removal and installation of a cover of the gas-distributing mechanism).
  3. Remove cogwheels distributive and cranked in bulk, a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt, and also forward and back intermediate rollers (see. Removal and installation of cogwheels cranked / camshafts and intermediate rollers).
  1. Turn out three fixing bolts and remove from the block of cylinders an arm of fastening of a support of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
  1. Turn out four fixing screws and, having pulled up, remove from the engine a back cover.

Engines of 2.0 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove a belt of a drive of GRM (see. Removal and installation of a belt of a drive of GRM).
  2. Uncover the gas-distributing mechanism (see. Removal and installation of a cover of the gas-distributing mechanism).
  3. Remove cogwheels distributive and cranked in bulk, a natyazhitel of a gas-distributing belt, and also forward and back intermediate rollers (see. Removal and installation of cogwheels cranked / camshafts and intermediate rollers).
  4. Turn out fixing bolts and remove from a head of cylinders the sensor of provision of a camshaft (CMP).
  5. Turn out fixing bolts and remove from the block of cylinders an arm of a suspension bracket of the power unit.
  6. Turn out four fixing bolts and remove a back cover from the engine.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components — track observance of demanded efforts of a tightening of fixture (see. Specifications), and also behind reliability of a zashchelkivaniye of clamps and correctness of laying of electroconducting.
