Removal and installation of a belt of a drive of GRM

Start performance of procedures only after complete cooling of the engine.


Replacement of a belt of a drive of GRM on engines 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 of l of DOHC

Removal

Engines 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 of l of DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove an air purifier.
  3. Cock the parking brake, поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props. Remove the right forward wheel.
  4. With chalk or paint mark the direction of rotation of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units. Having taken away to a natyazhitel by means of a cap key, weaken a belt. Pass a core in diameter of 4 mm in the combined openings in a natyazhitel and a basic arm [1]. Remove it from the engine.
  5. Remove the top section of a cover of a drive of GRM [2].
  6. Prop up the engine by means of the KM-6001 adaptation and establish aligning KM-909-V tool.
  7. Remove a natyazhitel of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units.
  8. Remove the right support of a suspension bracket of the power unit assembled with the arm.
  9. Having passed in a transmission dome the special KM-911 tool [3], block from a provorachivaniye a flywheel.
  10. Turn out a fixing bolt [4] and remove a pulley of a cranked shaft [5].
  11. Remove the bottom section of a cover of a drive of GRM [6].
  12. Take blocking flywheel the tool.
  13. At the corresponding complete set remove the sensor of provision of a camshaft (CMP).
  14. Temporarily screw into place a bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft and, turning a cranked shaft clockwise, bring the engine into the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder (see. Reduction of the piston of the first cylinder in the provision of the top dead point of the end of a step of compression (VMT). Make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels [7].
  15. Check correctness of combination of adjusting labels of cogwheels of camshafts of rather top cut of a head of cylinders [8].
  16. Block cogwheels of camshafts by means of the special KM-852 tool [9].
  17. Weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel [10] and by means of a prutkovy key (Allen) [11] develop the last clockwise to reduction of the left emphasis in the relevant situation [12] — Type 1 or [17] — Type 2.
  18. Slightly tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel.
  19. Remove a gas-distributing belt.

Engines of 2.0 l of DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  10. Turn out fixing bolts [5] and remove a pulley of a cranked shaft [6].
  11. Make sure of correctness of combination of distributive labels of a cranked shaft [7].
  12. Adjusting labels of cogwheels of camshafts should be combined with reciprocal risks on a back cover of a drive of GRM [8].
  13. Block cogwheels of camshafts by means of the special KM-853 tool.
  14. Weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel [10] and by means of a prutkovy key (Allen) [11] develop the last clockwise to reduction of the left emphasis in the relevant situation [12] — Type 1 or [16] — Type 2.
  15. Slightly tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel.
  16. Remove a gas-distributing belt.

Installation

Engines 1.4, 1.6 and 1.8 of l of DOHC

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure that the label on the case of the water pump correctly is combined with a reciprocal label on the block of cylinders [13].
  2. Make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels [7] and [8].
  3. Having begun with a cogwheel of a cranked shaft and moving counter-clockwise, establish a gas-distributing belt. Track, that the belt was tense on sites between the next wheels.
  4. Weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel [10].
  5. By means of a prutkovy key [11] develop a natyazhitel counter-clockwise before reduction of the index of the right emphasis in the relevant situation [14] — Type 1 or [18] — Type 2.
  6. Slightly tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel.
  7. Remove the tool [9] blocking cogwheels.
  8. Turn a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions clockwise and make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels [7] and [8].
  9. By means of the special KM-852 tool block cogwheels of camshafts [9].
  10. Weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel.
  11. Develop a natyazhitel clockwise before index reduction in the relevant situation [15] — Type 1, a new belt, [16] — Type 1 which was in the use a belt, [19] — Type 2, a new belt, [20] — Type 2 which was in the use a belt.
  12. Slightly tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel.
  13. Clean the tool blocking cogwheels and slowly turn a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions clockwise — make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels [6] and [7].
  14. Check correctness of combination of the index of a natyazhitel (see item 11). In case of need repeat procedure of adjustment of a tension of a belt.
  15. Tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel with demanded effort (20 Nanometers).
  16. Pass in a transmission dome the special KM-911 tool and block them a flywheel from a provorachivaniye [3].
  17. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft.
  18. Operating as it should be, the return to a dismantle order, establish on the places the removed components.

Track, behind observance of the original direction of rotation of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units if did not make its replacement.

  1. Screw a new bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft and tighten it with demanded effort.
  2. Remove the tool blocking cogwheels.

Engines of 2.0 l of DOHC

Make sure that the ledge on the case of the water pump correctly is combined with a reciprocal ledge on the block of cylinders [20].


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels [7] and [8].

If removed cogwheels of camshafts, track correctness of an arrangement of directing plugs.

  1. Having begun with a cogwheel of a cranked shaft and moving counter-clockwise, establish a gas-distributing belt. Track, that the belt was tense on sites between the next wheels.
  2. Weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel [10].
  3. By means of a prutkovy key [11] develop a natyazhitel counter-clockwise before reduction of the index of the right emphasis in the relevant situation [13] — Type 1 or [17] — Type 2.
  4. Slightly tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel.
  5. Remove the tool [9] blocking cogwheels.
  6. Turn a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions clockwise and make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels [7] and [8].
  7. By means of the special KM-853 tool block cogwheels of camshafts [9] (address to an illustration 41.39).
  8. Weaken a bolt of a natyazhitel.
  9. Develop a natyazhitel clockwise before index reduction in the relevant situation [14] — Type 1, a new belt, [15] — Type 1 which was in the use a belt, [18] — Type 2, a new belt, [19] — Type 2 which was in the use a belt.
  10. Tighten a bolt of a natyazhitel with demanded effort (20 Nanometers).
  11. Remove blocking tool [9].
  12. Turn a cranked shaft on two complete revolutions clockwise and make sure of correctness of combination of adjusting labels [7] and [8].
  13. Check correctness of combination of the index of a natyazhitel (see paragraph 65). In case of need repeat procedure of adjustment of a tension of a belt.
  14. Operating as it should be, the return to a dismantle order, establish on the places the removed components.

Track, behind observance of the original direction of rotation of a belt of a drive of auxiliary units if did not make its replacement.

  1. Tighten bolts of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft with demanded effort (20 Nanometers).
