Removal and installation of electric components of a control system of AT

Sensor switch of position of the lever of selector / permission of starts / fires of a backing

This combined sensor switch is responsible for operation of fires of a backing, provides possibility of start of the engine only in certain positions of the lever of the selector ("R" and «N»), and also carries out control of functioning of indicators on the control panel. In default any of the listed functions it is necessary to make adjustment of the mechanism of switching. If adjustment does not give desirable results, replace the sensor switch.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Establish the selector lever in the situation "N". Cock the parking brake, поддомкратьте a back of the car and establish it on props.
  2. For the purpose of ensuring access to the sensor switch, remove the storage battery with the adjusting pallet (see. Head engine Electric equipment).
  3. Release a clamp (if that is provided) and accurately disconnect a selector cable from the AT lever. Give a fixing nut and remove the lever from an AT selector shaft.
  4. Walk on an electroconducting plait from the sensor switch to the contact socket and disunite the last, previously having liberated a clamp from its case.
  5. On transmissions of AF20 take measuring щуп, give a fixing nut and remove directing tube щупа from AT case, the sealing element of a tube is subject to replacement without fail.
  6. Unbend a lock washer (if it is provided), give the main nut and remove washers from an AT selector shaft.
  7. Turn out bolts of fastening of a plate of switches and an electroconducting plait, having pulled up, remove switches.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before installation make sure that the shaft of the lever of the selector is in neutral situation, - in the absence of confidence put on the selector lever a shaft and shift it against the stop back (in the situation "R"), then transfer to two clicks forward.
  2. Establish the sensor switch on a transmission shaft, establish a basic arm of fastening of electroconducting. Screw fixing bolts, tighten them, while only by hand.
  3. Establish washers and screw the main nut on a selector shaft. Tighten a nut with demanded effort. Fix a nut by bending back of edge of a lock washer.
  4. Make sensor switch adjustment (see below).
  5. Connect electroconducting, - track correctness of laying of a plait.
  6. On transmissions of AF20 plant a new sealing element in an opening in AT case, insert directing tube measuring and reliably tighten a nut of its fastening. Fill in a tube щуп.
  7. Establish the selector lever on a shaft and tighten a nut of its fastening with demanded effort. Connect a selector cable to the lever hinge.
  8. Establish into place the storage battery and check serviceability of functioning of the sensor switch, - in case of need make adjustment of a cable of the selector (see. Adjustment of the mechanism of a choice of transfers).

Adjustment

Before the beginning of adjustment of the sensor switch make sure of correctness of adjustment of a cable of the selector (see. Adjustment of the mechanism of a choice of transfers).


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Execute procedures of Removal, subitem 1 — 3 (see above).
  1. Switch transmission in the situation "N" — the shaft of the selector should be developed лысками parallel to marking on the sensor switch case. In case of need, release bolts of fastening of the sensor switch and correct position of the last as appropriate. Having achieved demanded result, tighten bolts with demanded effort.

  1. Establish the selector lever on a shaft and tighten a fixing nut with demanded effort. Connect a tip of a cable of the selector to the lever and (at the corresponding complete set) fix it a clamp.
  2. Establish into place the storage battery and check serviceability of functioning of the sensor switch — if adjustment did not give desirable results, replace the sensor switch.

Switch of a sports mode

The soldering iron, solder and acid-free soldering paste is required.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove assembly of the lever of the selector (see. Removal and installation of assembly of the lever of the AT selector).
  1. To Vytolknita the switch from the top part of the lever, having passed a piece of a welding electrode through special drilling.
  1. Accurately mark the switch and the electroconducting brought to it, then отпаяйте wires from plugs of the switch and remove the last — the electroconducting plait in case of need can be extended outside from the lever basis.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Solder wires to switch conclusions — connection make according to the marking put in the course of dismantle.
  2. Accurately plant the switch on the regular place, then establish the selector lever (see. Removal and installation of assembly of the lever of the AT selector).

Switch of a winter mode

Removal

  1. Remove the central console (see. Head Body). Turn out two fixing screws from the back party of a cover and remove the last from lever assembly.
  2. Release clamps and remove the panel of indicators from a basic arm of lever assembly.
  3. Walk on an electroconducting plait from the switch to the contact socket and disunite the last. Liberate the switch from the display panel and remove it from the car.

Installation

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components.

Sensor switch of activation of the kickdown mode

The sensor switch is built in a cable of an accelerator and to replacement in an individual order is not subject. The description of procedure of replacement of a cable is provided in Head of the Power supply system and release.

Electronic module of management

Removal

The module of management is established on the right under the dashboard and attached on an arm to the air distributor case.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before removal of the module it is necessary to disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove the central console (see. Head Body). Remove the left central air line (see. Head of System of cooling, heating).
  3. Disconnect a basic arm of the module from the case of the air distributor and take the module aside. If conducting disturbs assembly assignment, cut off a plastic collar of fastening of a plait. Disconnect electroconducting from the module in case of need remove the last from a basic arm.

Installation

Installation is made as it should be, the return to an order of dismantle of components. Track correctness of connection of electroconducting.

Sensors of turns of entrance and target shaft of AT

Removal

On AF20 transmissions sensors are established from above on a case. The sensor of an entrance shaft ahead and closer to the left edge of transmission, day off - behind. On AF13 and AF17 transmissions sensors are established from above in a back part of a case, - the sensor of a target shaft above the sensor of an entrance shaft.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On AF13 equipped with transmission and AF17 models cock the parking brake, поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props. Remove the left forward wheel and a loker of protection of his arch (if it is provided - see. Head Body). On models with AF20 transmissions for the purpose of ensuring access to sensors remove the storage battery with the adjusting pallet (see. Head engine Electric equipment).
  2. Disconnect electroconducting and absolutely wipe sensors and surfaces of a case adjoining them.
  3. Turn out a fixing bolt and remove the corresponding sensor from transmission, the sealing ring is subject to replacement without fail.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Previously having greased ATF, plant on the sensor a new sealing ring.
  2. Fill the sensor in the landing nest, screw a fixing bolt and tighten it with demanded effort. Restore initial connection of electroconducting.
  3. On models of 2.0 l (AF20 transmission) establish the storage battery. On AF13 equipped with transmission and AF17 models establish a loker of a wheel arch (if removed) and the left forward wheel. Lower the car on the earth and tighten nuts of fastening of a wheel with demanded effort.

Sensor of temperature of ATF

Removal

For AF13 and AF17 transmissions the sensor of temperature of ATF is delivered assembled with an electroconducting plait. For removal of the sensor it is necessary to dismantle a lateral cover of transmission behind which various valves and electromagnetic switches are established, is rather complex challenge demanding observance of ideal purity in view of what it will be correct to charge its performance to specialists of car-care center. The description of procedure of dismantle of the sensor from transmissions of AF20 established on 2.0 l equipped with engines of model below is provided.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. The sensor will screw in a forward part of the basis of a case of transmission — before starting its removal disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
  2. Cock the parking brake, поддомкратьте a front of the car and establish it on props.
  3. Walk from the sensor on electroconducting — try to remember a route of laying of a plait. Disconnect electroconducting and liberate it from intermediate clamps.
  1. Turn out fixing bolts and remove from the sensor a cover.

  1. Wipe a surface of a case of AT adjacent to the sensor.
  2. Turn out the sensor and remove it assembled with an electroconducting plait. At once закупорьте an opening in a case a suitable cap.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Plant on the sensor a new sealing washer, take a cap and quickly screw the sensor in an opening in a transmission case. Tighten the sensor with demanded effort. At once collect traces of the spilled liquid pure rags, then establish into place a cover and reliably tighten bolts of its fastening.
  2. Correctly lay a plait of electroconducting and fix it in all provided intermediate clamps.
  3. Lower the car and connect a negative wire to the battery. Check ATF level, in case of need make the corresponding adjustment (see. Head Routine maintenance).
