System of anti-blocking of brakes (ABS) and antiprobuksovochny system (TCS) - the general information and codes of malfunctions

General information

The system of anti-blocking of brakes (ABS) is included into a standard complete set of all considered models. The Antiprobuksovochny system (TCS) as an additional complete set can be established on model of 2.0 l.

When the vehicle is equipped with brake system of usual type, sharp squeezing of a pedal of a foot brake leads to blocking of wheels. Coupling of a protector with a paving is thus broken, and the car can go yuzy, losing controllability. The system of anti-blocking of brakes (ABS) prevents premature blocking of wheels, continuously operating speed of their rotation during braking at the expense of modulations of pressure of hydraulic liquid in each of brake mechanisms.

ABS consists of two main subsystems: electric and hydraulic. Four sensors of speed of rotation of wheels, the processor of management and a set of connecting electroconducting enter into an electric part of system. The hydraulic part includes the pressure modulator, supports of disk brake mechanisms and connecting components hydraulic lines.

Normally open in the absence of signs of blocking of wheels inlet Ý/m the valve (EV) provides giving of total hydraulic pressure to brake mechanisms of wheels. Brake liquid arrives in the accumulator and is pumped over by the returnable pump (RFP) via the dempferny chamber (D) back in GTTs that allows to smooth pressure peaks, reducing thereby a noise background. The principle of functioning of system is rather simple. Each of wheels is equipped with the individual sensor of turns. At once after restoration of normal rotation of a wheel, the processor stops modulator functioning.

On the models equipped with TCS system, the additional set of managing directors of electromagnetic valves is included in a hydraulic contour. This system operates at speeds of movement to 60 km/h. management is made on the basis of the signals arriving on the control unit from wheel sensors. As soon as any of driving wheels starts to lose coupling with a paving, the control unit gives out command for its pritormazhivaniye that excludes pro-slipping of wheels at a troganiye from the car from a place and sharp accelerations.

For the purpose of prevention of impact on functioning of ABS and TCS of false signals, the special contour of safety is built in system of their management. At receipt on the control unit of an inadequate signal, and also at excessive falling of level of supply voltage, the system is automatically disconnected, and on the dashboard the control lamp of ABS (lights up see. Head Operation manual). The brake system thus continues to function in a usual mode.

Actually the scheme of functioning of ABS and TCS systems is much more difficult, than it can seem, therefore originators of the real Management do not recommend to owners of cars to make attempt of independent performance of repair of system. In case of malfunctions it will be most reasonable to address to specialists of car-care center where the corresponding diagnostics will be made with use of the skanerny input reader connected to the DLC socket (see. Reading of codes of malfunctions of ABS

At engine start the control lamp of ABS on an instrument guard of the car should join quickly and almost at once again to go out. If because of any violation the lamp remains included after implementation of start of the engine, the ABS processor writes down the corresponding digital code in memory of the block of self-diagnostics. Reading of codes is made by means of the special scanner connected to the 16-contact diagnostic socket, located under a forward overlay of a threshold of a driver's door of the car. In absence near at hand the scanner the car should be driven away for reading of memory and performance of necessary regenerative repair on car repair shop. It is necessary to charge performance of any regenerative repair to specialists of car-care center.

Cleaning of memory of the ABS processor

After elimination of the revealed malfunctions in system memory of the processor should be cleared. Memory cleaning again needs the scanner in the absence of which near at hand the car should be driven away on car repair shop.
