Check and adjustment of installations of the moments of injection of fuel

Some adjusting elements and sockets of the pump can be sealed up by the producer by painting or installation of the wire protection which elimination leads to violation of guarantee certificates.

Engines of 1.7 l of SOHC

The moment of injection of fuel is calculated by ECM on the basis of the analysis of information arriving from various sensors. Check can be made only with use of the special diagnostic equipment and its performance should be entrusted to specialists of car-care center.

Engines of 1.7 l of DOHC

Though on these engines the moment of injection is established by means of ECM, replacement of TNVD involves need of installation of base values of the moments of injection. Complete check can be made only with use of the special diagnostic equipment and its performance should be entrusted to specialists of car-care center.

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. If yet did not do it, remove an inlet air line with an air purifier (see. Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path). Also remove the top cover of a drive of GRM (see. Head Engine).
  2. Turn out fixing bolts and remove fuel tubes of nozzles. Originators of the real Management consider that it is necessary to turn out a fixing bolt (see. Head the Engine) and to shift back assembly of a maslookhladitel for the purpose of ensuring adequate access to TNVD, - prepare for collecting spilled fuel.
  3. Bring a cranked shaft into situation 45 ° before VMT of the piston of the first cylinder (see. Head Engine).
  1. Turn out the central screw of pumping located between unions of connections of four fuel tubes in a back part of TNVD.
  1. Screw a nozzle in a back part of the pump and establish a tsiferblatny measuring instrument of plunzherny type, - these tools (Opel KM-798) should be available at the disposal of each dizelist. Null a measuring instrument in the provision of a course of a plunzher, and reliably tighten lock a nozzle nut / bolt.
  1. Slowly rotating a cranked shaft in both directions, on indications of a measuring instrument define the bottom point of a course (NMT). Having achieved demanded result, null a measuring instrument.
  2. Slowly turning a cranked shaft clockwise, achieve combination of an adjusting label of a pulley of a cranked shaft with the response index (the provision VMT of the end of a step of compression of the piston of the first cylinder - see. Head Engine).
  3. Check the value of a course of a plunzher removed by a measuring instrument with requirements of Specifications. In case of need weaken forward nuts and back bolts of fastening of the pump and, smoothly turning the pump case, achieve demanded result. Pump deployment to the engine leads to decrease in indications, from the engine - to increase. Having achieved satisfactory result, tighten forward nuts and back bolts with demanded effort.
  4. Turn a cranked shaft on one or three quarters of a turn in the normal direction (clockwise), establish a plunzher of the pump in NMT (see above item 7), then null a measuring instrument.
  5. Slowly rotating a cranked shaft clockwise, achieve combination of an adjusting label on its pulley with the index (VMT of pistons of the 1st and 4th cylinders). Repeat check of size of a course of value of a course of a plunzher of TNVD.
  6. If adjustment is required, weaken nuts and bolts of fastening of the pump and repeat procedure (see above subitem 9 — 10).
  7. Having defined exact value of size of a course of a plunzher of the pump (and, means, and the injection moment) turn out a nozzle and remove a measuring instrument.
  8. Establish the central screw of pumping.
  9. Restore initial connection топливопроводов, - track, that shtutserny nuts were tightened with demanded effort. If removed, establish into place the case of a maslookhladitel and tighten a bolt of its fastening.
  10. Establish the top cover of a drive of GRM, an air purifier and inlet air lines.
  11. "Pumping" of fuel system is made automatically though procedure of start of the engine can take away slightly more time, than usually. Check the engine on existence of signs of development of leaks.
